Haemostasis and patient blood management
This section contains general education on clotting, abnormal clotting and how fibrinolysis and coagulation can be assessed by conventional laboratory tests and VHAs. Applications of VHAs in a variety of clinical contexts such as cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology, trauma, liver disease, obstetrics, intensive care, and neurology and stroke are also described, with examples of VHA traces.
